What are Pain Syndromes?

Pain syndrome, also called reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome, is a chronic pain condition in which high levels of nerve impulses are sent to an affected site. Experts believe that occurs as a result of dysfunction in the central or peripheral nervous systems.

How do you treat Pain Syndromes?

Management of chronic pain in patients with multiple problems is complex, usually requiring specific treatment, simultaneous psychological treatment, and physical therapy.
